Self-hosted Integration runtime provides facility to transfer data from on-premise sources to azure in a secure manner. Multiple Data Factories can share the same self hosted integration runtime.

I have observed many users struggle creating a CI/CD release pipeline that deploys ADF data pipelines from lower to upper environments. Main challenge faced was keeping the same name for linked SHIR runtime in newly deployed higher environments.
